It's important to review this policy in advance of any bookings. By reserving a charter through SimpleAppleDaily, you are consenting to these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding processing charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Must be requested via written correspondence through email or phone call
24-72 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter
Processing Period: 7-10 business days
Processing Deduction: €25 subtracted from the refund
Conditions: A valid explanation is required; additional administrative costs will incur
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refund not applicable
Exception: Special cases such as emergencies may be evaluated
Alternative: Credit for future charters may be granted at the discretion of management
Conditions: Supporting documentation needed for emergency instances
Cancellations due to Weather
Our Weather Guarantee
We prioritize safety above all. Should the weather conditions be considered hazardous for charter operations by our certified captain, we offer adaptable options:
- Full Refund: Granted when rescheduling is not feasible
- Reschedule: Shift your booking to another available slot with no extra cost
- Charter Credit: Obtain a voucher valid for one year from the original booking date
Weather Evaluation Procedure
Our assessment of the weather includes checking:
- Wind conditions including speed and direction
- Tide levels and overall sea conditions
- Forecast for visibility and precipitation
- Warnings and advisories by the Coast Guard
- Expert safety judgement from our captain
Timeline for Decision: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made no later than four hours before the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Unforeseen Medical Events
In the case of unexpected health emergencies, certain situations may permit special consideration:
- Unanticipated illness or injury that necessitates hospital admission
- Passing of an immediate family member
- Military conscription or unforeseen recall
- Required jury duty or legal summons
- Natural disasters impacting travel plans
Required Documentation
In order to process requests for emergency refunds, we need the following documentation:
- A certificate from a doctor or hospital records
- Death certificate for verifiable claims of bereavement
- Documentation from the military for orders
- A summons for court or documentation proving jury duty
- Advisories or official statements related to natural disasters
Refund Processing: Emergency refunds are undertaken within 3-5 business days once all relevant documents are received.
Refunds due to Operational Issues
Vessel Malfunctions
Should the reserved yacht have unresolvable technical issues:
- Replacement Vessel: Effort to offer an equivalent alternative is made
- Complete Refund: If replacing the yacht is not possible
- Partial Reimbursement: If the alternative yacht has differing rates
- Compensatory Measures: Additional restitution could be provided for any inconvenience
Unavailable Crew
In the rare event that a certified crew is not available:
- Efforts to provide a replacement crew will be made
- Fully refunded if the charter cannot take place
- The option to rebook without extra expenses
Refund Processing Details
Original Payment Method
Refunds will be executed through the same method used to make the initial payment:
- Credit Card Transactions: Within 5-7 business days
- Wire Transfers: Within 7-10 business days
- Cash or Cheque: 3-5 business days

€50 charge for cancellations that occur over 72 hours ahead
Bank Transfer Costs
€25 fee applied to all bank transfer refunds
International Transactions
Extra fees could be charged for transactions across borders
Voucher Policies for Charters
Scenarios for Credit Issuance
In certain scenarios, rather than refunds, we may offer charter credits:
- When cancellation is made closer than 24 hours
- When cancellations are weather-related
- Upon request for voluntary rescheduling
- In cases of operational interruptions
Terms of Credit
- Validity Period: Active for one year from date of issue
- Transfers: Credits are non-transferable between parties
- Monetary Worth: Corresponds to the full value of the charter without processing charges
- Redemption: Applicable for any upcoming charters within validity
- Expiry: Credits must be used within the 12-month limit; no extensions
Partial Refunds for Service Disruptions
Charter Disruptions
If the charter is interrupted or cut short due to factors we can control:
- A proportionate refund for the unutilized duration
- Voucher for a subsequent booking of equivalent value
- Complementary services or improvements offered
Early Endings Caused by Guests
If charter termination stems from a guest's actions or safety violations:
- No reimbursements for the remaining time allocated
- Complete settlement is due regardless
- Guest may face additional fees
Contesting Refund Decisions
If there is a disagreement over a refund outcome, you can:
- Seek a reevaluation from our management team
- Provide any additional proof or records
- Look to consumer protection agencies for mediation
- Engage the relevant legal avenues according to the law

Your request should include:
- Your confirmation code from the booking
- Date and time for the charter
- Explanation for cancelling
- Any relevant supporting documents (when applied)
- Your preference for receiving the refund
Step 3: Assessment and Completion
Our team will acknowledge your submission within a 24-hour window, evaluate it based on our policy, communicate our decision within another 48 hours, and proceed with processing the approved refunds within the stated schedules.
Key Reminders
- Each refund application has to be submitted in writing
- Refunds are issued in €, which is the default transaction currency
- We highly advise securing travel insurance
- This guideline may be updated, with customers given notice at least 30 days in advance
- All refunds are subject to the governing taxes and financial regulations
